(Sorry, my french must be really bad)

Vous parlez fran

french party, only with uchicago kids

I am highly proficient but not completely fluent in Spanish; I’ve taken it since I was four and I really want to become fluent in college. I took French for a year and hated it and quit (my “teacher” was horrible) so I can’t speak much but I can read easy stuff because of its similarities to Spanish and because I took Latin in middle school. My friend is helping me learn German but I got sidetracked with schoolwork, so I haven’t done that in a few weeks. I would actually like to try and learn Spanish, French, and German because I could travel to so many places and use those languages. I would also like to learn some Greek because my best friend is Greek and it would be be really cool to talk to her in Greek instead of English.

It’s amazing how many people here are interested in foreign language! Hardly anyone at my school values it or takes it seriously.

Vraiment 5 autre langue? C’est beaucoup! Quelles langues parles-tu?

@impressionistic

I understood everything, I only took Spanish 1 lol.
@ironchariot that sucks, you have bad compa
