I’m into pre-law, but also pre-med, art history and botany, so I still have a lot of figuring out to do…

Will you guys enroll at Chicago if you’re accepted?

i’ll have to see if the financial aid’s good enough, but theoretically, heck yes!

If accepted, I estimate a 95% chance that I will attend. I’d have to see financial aid, but if their NPC is any indication, I’d accept.

My brother is there now with no financial aid. (We’re a little over the barrier.) If I didn’t get any aid I think it would be difficult for us both to be at the college. My parents are also applying for faculty positions there, lol.

There are a few other colleges I’m doing regular decision that I’d want decisions from first, though. But, the UChicago core is AMAZING!

Yet another UChicago applicant, though I am a QuestBridge person like Omar so it’s a slightly different process! I’m also a pre-law person, I lean towards political science and business however!

all right! we got a party in here! i’d get the noisemakers but they scare me.

Yeah, another political person!

Any political books/ tv shows/ movies to recommend?

Any word on the number of applicants for the early round yet?

For the number of applicants: nothing yet but it was 10k last year :/

Political stuff: none that I can think of off the top of my head! I’m more into law than politics though…

Any news yet!
@platygirl, couple more weeks!!!
Hopefully everyone here will get in. I will attend with no doubt.

I’d say Chicago, Penn-Wharton, Harvard and Princeton are my top 4 with no preference for either over another.

Then Columbia is a very close 5th choice.

Chicago is most definitely my top choice If I get accepted I don’t think I’ll send out any of my other RD apps.

UChicago is one of my D’s top choices which don’t include any of ivies which don’t offer any of merit-based scholarship. If UChicago can give attractive merit scholarship, she will be definitely there. If not, she need to consider merit-based scholarships from other colleges. I know this scholarships are very limited. :(

looks like we got a parent here. hi parent :)

UChicago, Georgetown and UNC Chapel Hill are my top three.

UChicago is my top choice…if the financial stuff all works out! I really hope I get in!

i hope we all get in :)

Ironchariot is so optimistic, I am sure that most of us will get in( I hope).

better optimistic than gloomy. besides, i know everyone here worked their butts off to get here so we deserve it.

I could have done better in my case. But life is full of errors. My scholarship results come in 12 day!
