@Sam-I-Am I applied ED, I was sure after my recruiting trip. I got an early financial read, I didn’t try for a merit read(I’ll find out about that sometime soon). I’m not really sure about any merit pre-reads.
@zxcvbnm1216 I have a 33 composite, 35 super score. 1480 SAT (merit scholar), 3.9 UW, 4.2 weighted. I’m a swimmer.

I know most of us are predicting that decisions will be released Friday, but when do people think the date will be released? Perhaps today?
Somebody emailed their regional admissions counselor and got a reply saying that decisions will be released early NEXT week with an announcement about an official date later this week.

And risk pissing off my AO a couple days before decisions come out. No thanks. Haha I bet decisions are already set, but I still ain’t going to risk that.
I’m guessing they’re in the middle of committee right now finalizing decisions and starting aid packages soon.
I wish decisions would be released before RD Dec. 15 deadlines :(…
This is honestly getting a bit ridiculous. My school college counselor told me they would probably come out this week, but then again, nobody knows and it seems as though nobody can figure it out. A bunch of different people are all saying different things.
I just want to know if I’m in or out. One simple question!

This is ridiculous. How do they not know when they are going to release decisions? And if they do know, why would they not let us know?
There’s been some evidence that UChicago isn’t going to be earlier than last year with these decisions. There’s been no evidence that they would be releasing anything as early as the 16th.
So, just to get this straight, we still have no idea when they’re letting us know right?
