@quoderatuhhh lol! yeah i always thought the SAT was superior to the ACT (again, west coast/east coast thing) but i did so much better on the ACT and prefer it much more!
yeah haha its basically content (SAT) versus how well you take tests (ACT)
By the way, has anyone looked at the Step 2 Immunization and Insurance pdf? It says there’s a “Student Life Fee” for $365 that cannot be waived… does anyone know if that includes us? I hope not lol

Hey guys, what forms are you turning in? I emailed Ms. Castle and she said we only needed to turn in out Health and Medical Information form and a copy of our Immunization records but there’s 2 other forms and I’m pretty confused as to whether fill them in or not.
@aayala59 which other ones? if you are not an international student and have health insurance you have to fill out the health insurance waiver form so you dont have to pay the 1,000 dollars for Uchicago health insurance
Hey guys ! I’m a bit late to finding this thread but I wanted to get an idea of who else was accepted to the Neubauer program. I currently live in south florida (where most people are Hispanic) and I’ve lived in the U.S since I was 8. I’ll be attending the Contagion class and my best friend who was also accepted will be attending the writing course. So excited to meet you all !!!

P.S. Whose parents are planning on staying for the parent orientation on June 18th? I’m guessing some of you arriving on planes won’t have your parents come with.
@quoderatuhhh i think some parents will still come by plane. My parents considered it but theyre not coming lol. Im really excited too! I think its going to be intensive though. Hopefully we have free time and not too much hw

@quoderatuhhh My parents and brother are coming and I think they’re staying for the parent orientation.
@SugarSmarts they sent an email about books but our class didn’t have any listed. http://timeschedules.uchicago.edu/ we might have to buy books once we get there, but the costs should be covered since everything else was? i still need to pack
