@kibbles Did you email you regional admissions officer about your continued interest? I sent mines a whole essay about how UChicago is the only place for me, lol. I’m from NJ by the way.
@kibbles I feel like a lot of students lose hope in getting accepted after being deferred. I myself, silently cried a river… I thought that my dreams of going to UChicago were crushed, but then I knocked some sense in myself and looked at my defferal as second chance to get into my dream school.
I like this thread…nobody in my school applied to UChicago. They don’t understand how awesome it is! It’s nice to have people to go through this process with.
Yes it is! I can’t believe there are only 11 days left after tonight!!! 
all our anxiety is about to be over (for 5 minutes, and then it will be back with the weight of deciding and visiting), but it’ll be great nonetheless to just know.
Does anyone know when they are going to announce the actual day because not knowing is killing me

@gossipgirlxoxox I know what you mean! I remeber you from the EA thread…I silently kept up with it, lol. Hopefully they will officially announce decision day a week from now.
@TheUnicornPimp Sent an email to make sure midterm grades were received and express continued interest. U of C is a verrrrry looooong shot here so thrilled to be deferred

Hey guys, I have a pretty sketch question. So I made a mistake on the financial aid forms to UChicago when I submitted them around February 12th. Just a few days ago I got an email saying they just noticed my mistake and told me to upload the correct stuff. Do you think there is any significance to the fact that they are reviewing my financial aid application? My parents think there is, but I’m not sure…
Edit: The above posts make it sound like the mistake was on purpose, but I only found out about the mistake when UChicago emailed me, lol

@Maroonsfan I don’t fully understand the tax forms, but it had something to do with a wrong schedule??? Sorry for being so vague
