<p>Well, my final two college choices have come down to these two schools...and I have no idea what to do. My heart says I should go to UChicago because I just love the campus and the people and the food and everything about it!!! But then there's med school, and being a commuter at UIC...and UIC ends up being somewhat cheaper than UChicago, but not drastically...Anyone have any thoughts?</p>
<p>Let me preface this by saying its up to you and what’s best for your family. If cost is a significant factor, that gives uic the edge. It will probably be way easier to maintain a stellar GPA at uic. However if you love uchicago and can take the rigor and cost, don’t be afraid to go for it</p>

<p>As a current UChicago student who was also accepted to both UChicago and UIC GPPA, and ultimately had to choose between those two last year, I have no regrets about my decision as a potential premed Chem/Biochem major.
