<p>Quick question: Does UCI TAP work the same way as UCLA’s? Because I put my main major that completed all pre-reqs for as my alternate and a major that I realized was better fitting (but didn’t do all pre-reqs) as my first. Since I figured if it didn’t work out I’d still get considered for my alternate. </p>
<p>Hopefully I don’t get rejected altogether because of this haha. Or else I’ll only have UCLA/Cal left.</p>

<p>it has TAG, which is stronger. do TAG, and you’re guaranteed a spot. It might not be in your major, but you’ll be in.</p>

<p>xelink - Must’ve gotten it confused with UCLA’s specific TAP program. The scholars program here says it gives me “priority admission” to UCI (and UCLA along with a couple other CSUs + private schools). </p>
<p>I didn’t qualify for UCI’s TAG (four year university classes).</p>
<p>Probably should’ve put anthro as my first choice then. Strangely I’m not freaking out. This isn’t good!</p>
