<p>i have been following this thread for a month now…
i was just wondering someone who’s major is Psychology & Social Behavior got accepted yet? with GPA that is 2.8-low 3.0? or any Criminology major?
there are only five days left… and i am starting to doubt that i am going to get in… 
i got into ucsb… but my first choice is uci… argh this is so frustrating!</p>

<p>My friend actually is still waiting to hear back from that major 3.4+ and all pre-reqs that are available done. She just switched into the major though so i’m sure she’s on the bottom of the pile</p>
<p>yeah I’ve seen psychology and criminology majors but they are all with gpa of 3.5…

<p>w00t w00t, i got accepted last night at 3AM. My first acceptance. Havn’t heard back from everywhere else.</p>
<p>I’m sitting here totally unable to sleep, compulsively checking my status for a decision that I know isn’t going to be made before I have to “wake up” in 4 hours.</p>

<p>I don’t plan to accept anyways since I’ve already submitted the SLR for la, but I WOULD like to know my status since I did pay $50bucks for the app.</p>
<p>@knight: The simple fact that if I don’t get in to Irvine, chances are I’m also not getting in to SD, which in turn means I’m banished to the depths of hell, formally known as UC Riverside.</p>

<p>knightmight: my reason for wanting to go to UCI is mainly because I prefer UCI over UCSB. Also when I visited UCI, I felt very comfortable with the UCI atmosphere when compared to UCSB. So yeah… I really want to go to UCI. I’m just not sure I’m going to get in because of the whole only accepting 15 transfers for Bus. Admin. I wish they’d accept more than that. =[</p>
<p>BTW, I was checking my UCI financial aid award. And if I remember correctly it used to say something along the lines of it being available mid-April.
But now it no longer says the mid-april part and says my aid shall be available shortly. </p>
<p>Could this mean I might’ve been accepted? or that they just changed the sentence because they totally missed the mid-April part? orz</p>
<p>@ maybetomorrow what do you mean they’re only accepting 15 transfers for business admin? i don’t think thats true because i know some transfer students who were accepted and there’s also others on this thread who did as well.</p>
<p>they probably admit 50 ~ people due to yield rate and the possibility that if they got into uci Business admin they probably got into haas as well</p>
<p>well i fell in love with this school the moment i went on campus. and everything i have researched on the website and all that ive heard made me pick irvine as my first choice. i also agree with maybetomorrow because i got into ucsb and i feel like im settling if i go there which i dont want to happen with whichever school i pick. i wanted it to be a choice but so far it looks like unfortunately it wont be…</p>
