UCI Acceptance

@itzcarroll: Awww :frowning: Well remember how terrible my GPA was and I still got in.

And UCB just “lol”'d my app, so that’s two rejections for me :)

Just got accepted about 15 mins ago. I checked a million times all day, so they’re definitely releasing some today. (philosophy major / 3.1 gpa / pre-req’s done / no igetc)

Good luck everyone!!! I am pulling for all of you right now!

still pending!!

I just got an e-mail from UCI that says

"Dear ________________:

We are writing to let you know you will be receiving a decision from UC Irvine
regarding your application by May 5th. The 31.9% increase in transfer
applications for fall quarter 2010 is the reason for the delay.

We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding.

Sincerely,

Office of Admissions and Relations with Schools"

I got that toooo

I appreciate that they sent out an e-mail. CPP still has my status under review :P

are you guys csu to uc transfers too???

No I’m at a cc, but I think my major (Mechanical Engineering) is impacted.

I got that too. At least we made it to the last rounds!

I got that too!! ahhh have to wait 5 more days… I just hope it’s not a rejection.

I think its possible to get a response sooner. It says “by May 5th” not “on May 5th”. The sooner the better. I want to know already.

I wish everyone still pending the best of luck :)

i got the same email…this is BULL, been waiting soo long. i’m transferring from an out of state 4 year university, so my chances are ****

just NOW got into UCI as a UC to UC transfer!

congrats!! did you get an email or just checked?

just randomly checked, thanks! i applied there back in high school, got rejected, appealed, got rejected. and applied last year as a sophomore-level transfer, got rejected and got rejected on the appeal too. glad i finally got in

Anyone going to discover UCI on the 14th

@ peter86 yea im considering it…may 14th? what time is it at?..

it’s like 10-1? or something i think. I got an email for it this morning

It’s basically a information panel on steps to enrollment then you meet up with past transfer and talk about the experience and then a campus tour
