Hi everyone!
So I, along with the majority of my friends who are ridiculously smart, received an e-mail this morning from UCI saying that we were all accepted!
However, I'm not as great a student as all my friends who were also accepted...
As you can see, this gives me a sense of false hope because well... as naive as if may sound, I felt kind of special to get an early reply from UCI (note: I'm not an ELC student either)...
In order to deflate my ego, I'd just like to know one thing:
Does everyone get their acceptance to UCI late, late January/very early February?

Thank you (:

And good luck to everyone on their admissions!

Hey! Don’t lose hope! On the other thread in the UCI forum, someone posted that UCI does admission in waves. You should receive a decision from UCI by late March at the latest. I can tell you that many people who were Class of 2014 got their admission in mid March.

it’s a rolling admissions thing so i think the ELC students get the acceptances on the first of February and then after that they send out the acceptances all the way through February and March!
But either way, CONGRATULATIONS! :)

In previous years, how many weeks does UCI Admissions spread out each wave of acceptances? Do the rejections absolutely come last or do they come at the same time as acceptances?

Apparently they send out the first wave of decisions already to top students… or at least that’s what I have been hearing. May you guys please list your stats and major you got accepted into? Thanks (: and congrats on your admissions too!

This is just a gist, (not trying to sound like a ******bag bragger). many of my friends with less impressive stats than me have also gotten in. but we’re from california so maybe thats why?
