I have heard that UCI sends out their admissions by waves. What exactly does this mean? Do they send out the acceptances by ranks (ELC, highly qualified, qualified, then rejections)?

I too would like to know

I think it might be by like when you turned in your application. I was accepted today, and I believe I turned in my application 3-4 days before the deadline. One of my friends was in the previous wave, and she sent in her app like 15 days before the deadline. But i know it’s definitely not by major.

I turned in my application on Nov. 17th (14 days before deadline). Does this mean mine should be coming in soon? Will the notification even come if I got denied admissions?

I was accepted a couple of weeks ago…
What they mean by waves is that they do not send out their applications all at one time.
I do not think there is a specific order whatsoever…

sehruhh, what other school did you apply
