<p>So I've been doing a lot of research and it seems to me that, though appeal success rates are generally very low, a successful appeal to UCI is very much doable in comparison to the other UC's. I speculate this is because UCI has the tendency of accepting over qualified students who end up going to better schools, and rejected other well-qualified students to raise their stats...? </p>
<p>Almost every person I know who appealed to UCI (and actually had valid reasons for appeal) got in, but their appeal process is a lot longer than the other UC's.</p>
<p>Anyone have anything to say about this?</p>
