<p>No problem, I’ve heard that they’ve accepted people off the waitlist, something that didn’t happen last year so they might be underenrolled this year! Remember in 2012 they were under enrolled and 50% of the appeals were granted! Last year only 3% were granted because they already had enough spaces.</p>
<p>I sent in my appeal on the 15th certified mail and only notification I’ve gotten is the portal saying “Status: pending” and my confirmation stamp that they received it… Hope we all get in! I know I’m scared as ■■■■ lol</p>
<p>Have you guys call UCI about when appeals come out ? Because I just called and they said late JULY at the EARLIEST. I’m like are you serious. I don’t think I can wait much longer.</p>

<p>july sounds reasonable for transfers because they heard mid/end april. we heard back in march so…</p>

<p>I just asked, he said that it would be near the end of this month. He couldn’t give me any information about the #s of accepting off the waitlist or appeal.</p>

<p>end of may/early june if they are late. sounded like they were looking heavily at the waitlist to fill slots so he wasnt sure how many they’d need to take off the appeals. seems like they are accepting nearly everyone though</p>

<p>My friend said in 2012 (when he was accepted from appeals) he and several others were accepted in the May 1523 period.</p>
<p>Stress level at an extreme high. So want to go to UCI followed by UCSB. Sired at UCSC. I felt I shouldn’t have been rejected by UCI. Maybe because I applied as Econ major. So dumb and foolish.</p>
<p>I was accepted today for Undeclared/Undecided after having been waitlisted earlier in March.</p>
<p>(I won’t actually be accepting the offer because I’m already headed to UCSD, though. I wanted to participate in the UCI waitlist just in case something came up with the UCSD admission process).</p>
<p>I don’t know if this is the right thread, but it seemed relevant considering some previous posts and I thought you guys might want to know some waitlist decisions are out.</p>
