Hey guys, I was wondering if you could help me choose between UCI and UCSD. I got into UCI for my first choice major, biomedical engineering and I got into UCSD for my alternative, aerospace engineering. I really want to go into biomedical engineering but I don’t want to go to UCI cause I live 20 mins away and would live at home. How difficult would it be to transfer at UCSD from aerospace to biomedical? I don’t want to take the chance and go to SD and be stuck in aerospace, but then again I don’t want to live at home with my parents. I also got into UCSB for biochemistry because they don’t have a bioengineering program yet. I would had loved to go there if they had my major… would there be anyway to transfer from UCSB to another UC for biomedical engineering after 2 years? Thanks!
Tough choices. I understand that you don’t want to go to school too close to home. How about going to UCDs and then try to transfer to another UC if you don’t get into Biomedical engineering.
