<p>Hi guys, so I am going to make this sweet and shot. I applied to UCI as a chemistry major and here are my stats. I have a 3.23 GPA and I have a year of general chemistry done (passed both with A's) and 1 class in calculus (passed with a C). During the spring I will be taking my second course in calculus, my first course in calculus based physics, and my second course in general biology. By the end of spring I will have a year of calculus, chemistry, and biology complete (with one course in calc based physics). I was wondering if you could please notify me of my chances.</p>
<p>Thanks for the views but I was hoping if someone could please comment or give their honest opinion so I can feel better about myself because I am really stressing out.</p>
<p>It’s gonna depend on your test scores and your essay. If your test scores are amazing and you write a good essay explaining why your gpa is so low AND if your first gen and low income then UCI would be a low reach/high match. If your scores and essay are mediocre then and your not first gen and have a lot of money then I would suggest trying UCR or UCM, because UCI would then be a high reach. </p>

<p>I think you have a good chance, especially because UCI is one of the more lenient UCs and they make CC transfer students top priority over UC-UC transfers. Just keep your grades up & hope for the best (:</p>
<p>chance back for UCD, UCSB, UCSC and UCSD? I’m a freshman applicant and I applied as an English & Sociology major :)</p>
<p>Oh well that changes everything. Then you have a decent chance. If you get it up to a 3.4 then I’d say you’d have a really good chance. </p>

<p>Thanks. Hey also I applied to UCSB but for this college I also did TAG what do you think my chances for UCSB would be with all of the same stats but also TAG.</p>
<p>Also in addition to everything by the end of spring semester I will already have 83 transferable units.</p>
<p>any comment on chancing me for UCSB</p>
