<p>I am so sorry to all who are getting the notices today. </p>
<p>I do not like the way UCI did this, and SLO did it the same way. I see no benefit to make people wait to just get this end result. The one day - all admit, waitlist and deny announcement - in my opinion is the way to go and either way, the waitlist and deny notices hurt, but we can all celebrate and commiserate together on that one day instead of dragging it out.</p>

<p>Looks like the rejections are coming out now. So sorry for those who did not get in.</p>
<p>What do you guys think of going to a Cal State, Long Beach to be specific, and then just getting a Masters at UCLA or USC? Or would it be better to do a community college for two years and then transfer to a UC?</p>
<p>@Aerocollege does your S or D want a Freshman campus experience or does that matter or not? </p>
<p>So if a friend has not heard by now for Pre-Economics, should they assume that they are not getting in?</p>
<p>@Sarah2116, no I don’t think so. I would expect more waves of acceptances, waitlists, and rejections.</p>
<p>No, my D doesn’t really care she said. She is cringing at the thought of having to room with someone and then share a bathroom with 8 other people. Probably comes from being an only child. LOL She’d be perfectly happy in her own place. Plus, she’s kind of shy so it makes it even harder.</p>

<p>@Aerocollege, I think if she does not want/need that first year campus residential life, then I would look at CC instead of enrolling at a 4 year she is not really feeling. Do the CC and transfer to one of the schools she was passionate about. My son is taking a class at Glendale CC and likes it, but he wants to get away and live on campus!</p>
