@jeetusSwo Possibly. Mine initially had no courses listed but I checked the next day and I need B’s in two classes. Maybe give it a day or if you know you completed everything then I’d think ur fine
Those who got a response, can you guys tell me which date you apply for TAG and UC App?
I haven’t received a response and I apply TAG around middle of September and UC App on November 21.
Maybe they’re rolling out the responses according to the order they’re applied?
@NervyBoi i dont think it has anything to do with the order they applied. My two friends did not tag and submitted on nov 29, later than I did, and both got admitted last night while i havent heard anything yet

Admitted yesterday! I am so nervous because UCI required the high school transcript for confirming graduation. Actually, I attended high school outside US and I dropped out after two years. I haven’t received my high school Diploma.
Yes, I completed general ed last semester and finishing up my major requirement this semester, even supplemental courses too. It’s all done.
My counselor told me it will not affect my admission, but UCI requested and I should submit it before deadline. Anyone knows what can I do for this issue now ?

I am in a similar situation. I attended high school outside of the U.S. Our government shut down over 1,600 private educational institutions recently, and my high school was one of them. I don’t even know if I can request transcripts from them anymore, because most of the personnel are in prison.
@GaussX I remember reading some info about having trouble of attaining transcripts due to politicsl upheaval or school shutdown at one of the UC school’s website.
@GaussX I already sent message to UCI, still waiting for response. Try to contact them ASAP, they may withdraw the offer who failed to provide transcript

Visited this campus yesterday morning and it was gorgeous! So many new, modern buildings and birds of all sorts chirping early in the morning…And so many food options just across the street! To those of you that got in: I think you’ll really enjoy it there!
The only thing I didn’t like about the school was the main library - it needs to be updated.
Anyone know when you need to update cal grant? I qualified for this past year, but it’s still pending renewal for the upcoming school year. It still lists my cc as the school but when should I switch it to uci?
@GaussX, @fisher316 as far as I know you will need a HS diploma at least to receive financial aid. It does not matter if you went to a HS outside of the United States. Just wait to see what they say, but if they REQUIRE a HS diploma to enroll then, try to take the CHSPE exam, it is just an exam and if you pass it they give you the equivalent to a HS diploma. As soon as you have the equivalent you will be fine i guess.

does anyone know if submitting your sir will affect the decisions of other schools? I plan on attending uci regardless but I’m just curious
@mmmmms I do not think submitting an SIR will affect others’ decisions. That would be unethical.
