@HarleyTheQuinn DANG your GPA is high too! I’m sure you’ll get off the waitlist. I’m a psych major too and only at a 3.17 pfffft. I’m glad the wait is over in terms of hearing back from UCI.
I was accepted as an English major with a 3.3 GPA last week. It really makes me wonder why UCI admissions are a hit or miss. I’m not attending UCI so I hope that opens up another spot for someone on the waitlist! Good luck everyone!
@liberalhippie I hope so too.’seems like they’re getting more selective with their applicants ? But even though your GPA is lower, it’s a good thing they saw you as a strong applicant! Hopefully you’ll get in too.

i don’t know how i got in since someone earlier had a much higher gpa than me. i guess they liked my essay…i did spend a good amount of time on them

@jjang25 I see a lot of people with high GPA are waiting. I dont understand what UCI are looking for their applicant. Maybe PS essay could make an applicant stands out.
