I am looking to apply this month for business in many UCs and CSUs. Unfortunately I do not have math requirements for the econ or biz majors at UCI (only took business calculus instead of traditional calc 1 and 2).
So I was looking at some majors on UCI’s majors list and international studies caught my attention. It says students can go on to work in international business and that the major allows you to take biz/finance courses.

I was wondering if anyone here is in, has been in or knows someone who is im this major. Are graduates really able to find business related jobs or is this a rare case? I’m assuming being in Irvine gives UCI grads an advantage to get a biz job with non biz majors maybe?
I plan to pair it with a management minor or computer classes or something of the like. I also have done my lower division at CC with a variety of business courses.
