<p>I don’t want to experience the boring college life, and I heard UCI has a great Computer Science program. Does this transfer to Computer Engineering as well?</p>
<p>UCI's computer science and engineering major is a joint program between the Bren School of Informatics and Computer Science and the Samueli School of Engineering <a href="http://undergraduate.eng.uci.edu/degreeprograms/compsci/%5B/url%5D">http://undergraduate.eng.uci.edu/degreeprograms/compsci/</a></p>
<p>The CSE program is fairly new. The plan is for it to be accredited both as a Computer Science program through the Computer Accreditation Commission (CAC) and as a Computer Engineering program through the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET, Inc.</p>
