Hey guys!
I have been accepted to:
- University of Washington, Seattle
- University of Wisconsin, Madison
- University of California, Irvine
I have been waitlisted at:
- University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
- Georgia Tech
- University of Michigan, Ann Arbor
My main goal is to try and transfer to:
- One of my waitlisted universities
- University of California, Berkeley
- University of Texas, Austin
- Cornell University
- University of Southern California
- Rice University
- University of California, San Diego
- University of California, Los Angeles
However, I also don’t want to end up regretting my university decision in the event that my transfer fails. What would be the best course to take for me? My major is computer science and I wish to enter the tech industry.
Some other factors:
- Getting into CS at UDub, Seattle is extremely difficult but it’s in Seattle, a great tech hub.
- Wisconsin is not close to the tech industry and it’s extremely cold there but it has great school spirit and college life.
- Life at University of California, Irvine seems terrible but it’s close to the industry and transferring to Berkeley/UCLA/UCSD would be much easier.
Please advise.
Thanks!
