Uci waitlist?

<p>i have been placed on the waitlist for UC IRVINE and i wanted to know 2 things...</p>

<p>1) the decision says that i will be notified by may 15th if i have been admitted or not...
if i accept another college since the last date to register for other colleges is may 1st, then if i get UCI can i decline the college which i earlier accepted??</p>

<p>2) does anyone know what the acceptance rate for waitlisted students is for UCI?</p>

<p>yes you can decline to the other college at which you have accepted but you wont get your money back. </p>

<p>no one knows the acceptance rate for waitlisted students because this is the first year they are doing it. i called them and that is what they told me :(</p>
