I was accepted as a Pre Biz Econ major into UCLA this fall, but I'm not doing so hot in my Calc II calc right now (spring). If I get a "C" in this class (A's in all my others, maintaining above a 3.0 for the semester) will I still be able to get into the Biz Econ Major and the Accounting Minor later at UCLA? Do they look at your CC grades or just your UCLA grades?

From a previous thread I read, I think you will be okay.
Once we transfer, they look at the UCLA gpa only to determine if we are eligible for a certain major/mino.

I’m going to be your rival. But I haven’t touched calculus for 2 years…sigh
Today my Micro-Econ teacher (at community college) scared me as he said the intermediate econ classes are going to be much harder, and those who started at UCB (I know we are talking about UCLA, but they are pretty much the same) as freshmen know more stuff than community college transfers cause their classes were harder and more in-depth. o.O

I guess this summer I have to prepare myself to get ready for cut-throat competition.

Oh, by the way, my Econ teacher graduates from Berkeley.
