Hey! Assuming that my essays are decent and extra currics are great (lots of clubs and officer positions, numerous years, 2 academic awards and 1 community service award), can you take a look at these scores and assess them for UCLA and the other UC's?

GPA: 3.89 (UW), 4.2 (W)

SAT I
Dec 2003: 1240 (640 M, 600 V)
Mar 2004: 1230 (630 M, 600 V)
Nov 2004: 1480 (720 M, 760 V)

SAT II
Math IIC: 700 (will retake, hoping for 750+)
Writing: 680
US History: 690

cd8705: If you need help on verbal, the BEST tip is to read, hehe. It's more fun and helps more than just memorizing vocab ;). Good luck!

flopsy: Thanks for your input! What do you think about the sat ii scores, though? Are they a bit low or am I just paranoid? I only signed up for a retake for math iic and am fretful now because I didn't sign up for writing as well.... D= !!! Thanks for your time =).

baseketball22 : Dude, it seems like all the other UC applicants are loaded with high 700's or just plain 800's on their SAT II's. Their SAT I scores are like wayyy up there (1500+). About 75% of the posts I've seen of prospective UC students are of a student with a 4.3+ gpa. All my friends have like a 4.3+ gpa and their SAT II scores are awesome. Makes my stuff seem sooo, so mediocre -_-.

And that's why I don't know if I should apply to Stanford. Tough, tough competition o_o.

More input appreciated... hehe.. especially about question 2...^
