Hey everyone,

I am currently in the process of getting ready for transfer, filling out a TAG, writing personal statements, etc.. etc.. and am considering applying to UCLA.

To my understanding Anthropology at UCLA isn't too impacted and it appears to be a pretty solid program - I guess my largest concern, assuming I get accepted is if it is the "right" program.

I've heard several times that UCLA and UCB are not really tailored to undergrads and that it would be better to go for grad school and, personally, I would love to get a great education and learn as much as possible but I also don't want to loose myself in my schoolwork which I have heard can be an issue in top tier schools.

Any imput on the UCLA anthro program is greatly appreciated?
