UCLA Appeal 2016 *Class of 2020*

@Tee23 They said they are going to post Friday after 5 :slight_smile:

My major is sociology but I wasnt asked for transcripts like other people on this post, so i am a little bit scared that i was rejected. I am still trying to keep my hopes up but when i spoke to ucla about why I was denied the first time they told me all my requirements for sociology were good its just that my gpa was low being a 3.1 but what surprises me is that people majoring in history were accepted with 3.2-3.4. The reason my gpa suffered was because I took seven classes during fall 2014

@morocco123

I wasn’t asked about transcripts either, but hey… You never know. My gpa is super low :frowning: I started college when I was 14 and I’m 19 now and I always tend to take just about the same amount of classes and get like C’s and B’s. Super pissed about that. This summer session is the only time I’m taking 2 classes :slight_smile: gotta change my ways lol @“osazuwa ogbeide”

@morocco123 i am going to go UCSF … i picked uci and uc santa barbra for ucsf … i just wish i got in to ucla … but who knows

keep your heads up im 26 you guys got a lot of time. ! Undergrad is just undergrad ! grad school is what counts so even if you dont get in ~ dont worry ~

If it makes you feel any better, I didn’t get accepted ANYWHERE. But hey … Everything happens for a reason :slight_smile: I appealed Uci and UCLA.

I know you’re gonna do great at UCSF ! Such a great school. Super lucky !

@gojo90 ^^

Hi everyone, I actually was admitted on appeal earlier this month. Wanted to check back as I haven’t seen any posts on this discussion in three weeks. Has anyone else heard from admissions (either denials or acceptances)?

I am a transfer, fyi
