<p>ohhh. i'm an ethnomusicology major. but i'm planning to double with music ed or composition. anyway...i'm just going to enjoy it while it lasts. i can't wait until spring break!!! 2.5 more weeks!!! </p>

<p>from what i've heard from many of my friends who are applying as art majors...it's pretty competetive to get in. I heard that it's competetive inside the school too. But i don't know how it would compare to art schools like art center and RISD.</p>

<p>where else did you guys apply for art, dance, and music? i got rejected from ucsd today.i don't even know why i applied...they don't even have auditions there. where does ucla stand in your choices for college?</p>
<p>yeah.. i got rejected from ucsd as well! i thought that was kind of weird..but who cares? ucla is way better anyway.. </p>
<p>ucla was the first school i heard from.. so i still have to wait for schools in the east coast.. like nyu, bu, etc.</p>

<p>I heard back from Cal State Long Beach, UC Irvine, Biola (Christian University)...and Ucla. I didn't apply to east coast because financial issues and i wasn't elligible to apply for fafsa for most of the private school deadlines anyway. I was kinda expecting San Diego to reject me because my grades and SAT scores are not up to par. but i seriously don't know why i applied to a school for music that doesn't even have auditions.</p>
<p>UCLA is my top choice...I've always wanted to go there. :) So i'm a happy camper. haha.</p>

but if i do get into nyu.. i'll have a real tough time deciding between the two because they're both great for art..</p>
