UCLA asking your winter grades in February?

Hello, everyone. According to the thread above, if you're taking a pre-req course in winter session, UC's will ask you for the grade you got in winter. Does that apply to EVERYONE who takes their pre-req courses in winter? I'm asking, because I'm currently taking my last pre-req course for Philosophy major in Winter 2011, and I was wondering if they will ask me for the grade. Does anyone know about this?

Also, I heard that we can still update our grade AFTER the fall grade deadline, which will allow us to update our winter grade? Last year, a few of the people I know updated their winter grade in February because the website still allowed them to update after the deadline. Does anyone know for sure? haha..

Thanks for reading! I would appreciate your responses!

If you have your Winter grades by January 31, you may report them on the UC Transfer Update. The letter referenced in the thread sounded like UCLA was trying to make a decision on a borderline applicant.

It’s not uncommon for some UCs to request additional information and/or require specific conditions to be met for admission purposes. Other examples include unofficial transcript requests for international applicants.

So I’m guessing this is right after the student has sent their application in the Fall, correct?

Request for additional information can happen at any time since the transfer applications are reviewed and routed for additional reviews throughout February and March.
