UCLA/Berkely Financial aid?

Hey everyone. For those who have been to, or know about UCLA and Berkeley, how generous are they with their financial aid? I'm still a junior in high school and am checking out colleges to apply for and am worried about affording to attend (income<$30k), although I would love to go to one of these two schools. I would be an out of state student (from Michigan). Sort of disappointed that the blue and gold is for in state students only. Anyway, how much would it cost me to attend? If it matters, I have good scores (3.95 GPA, currently 28 ACT, will be retaking in June). I'm not quite sure about what else I need to tell you guys to give an accurate result, so if you need anything, let me know and I'll say.

Also, while I'm asking, for those who know, how accurate is the Cappex net price calculator?

bump?

As an out of state student, you would not be given much in the way of financial aid other than a loan of $5500. OOS students are full pay, plus an extra fee, so your costs would be about $50k per year for tuition. The State of California funds California students because the schools are funded by California taxpayers. Out of state students are accepted for their OOS dollars.
