Ah geez this is out of hand. Ucsd is basing their waitlist off berkeley and LA… so at least you guys don’t ha e to wait as long as I do! Been on the waitlist for 7 weeks. A wait of any duration is brutal

Oh my god, I can’t believe everyone so far has been rejected after they tortured us with the Waitlist.
I checked the portal and I still didn’t get my answer yet, but I’m beginning to accept the fact that I will be rejected as well.
Oh well, might as well be a 49er then. CSULB has an excellent Music Conservatory anyway.

rejected off the waitlist. completely disappointed in the way UCLA chose to handle this situation.
Totally agree… I think all the top tier UCs are all like that … honestly, money and ranking are their number one concern. They have so many applicants to choose from and unfortunately caring for our feelings and making us feel respected are not their top priority.
Accepted off the waitlist. Last name at the beginning of the alphabet, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Only applied to two UC’s - UCSD and UCLA. Accepted to UCSD, waitlisted at UCLA, but now accepted. Did not like how UCLA handled the entire process and decided against that university some time ago. Headed to Stanford. Go Cardinal!
