Is the decision coming today?
For anyone who gets denied by UCLA today (which will be almost everyone): My son was denied last year and was both mystified and disappointed. Weeks later he was admitted by Stanford and is a freshman there now. Things will work out!

There is a parent in the Cal Poly SLO thread with a son who was waitlisted at Cal Poly but had already been admitted to Stanford REA. So there is certainly some randomness and unpredictability in admissions.
