I am deciding whether or not to RSVP. Anyone been? What did you do there and was it worthwhile?

I just been and I would have to say it’s quite worth it. (Even the $10.00 per person and the $9.00 parking… >.<)

I got to see the dorms and get a feel for what it’s like to walk around campus. (Very big and so many hills/stairs… Wear comfortable shoes! Sunglasses may also help.) I also ate in one of residential restaurants, which was actually quite good. I walked out of that place wishing I had more room in my stomach. (I would have to say though, you could probably skip their breakfast, unless you’re a vegetarian or something, you won’t find it quite appetizing. Bagels, croissants, jam, and the like.)

I do note though, you should break off from the main groups and explore on your own. There’s this part where there’s a Q&A section, I would recommend you maybe go to those for maybe 10-20 mins. (Come prepared with questions). And then leave to sit in on some lectures (most of the lectures you can sit in on are rather early so watch your time carefully), you’d be surprised with the different environment the each classes are. It’s okay if you walk right in the middle of class, although a bit awkward, but okay. (One classroom I went into was really hot and a little cramped but nice teacher, while another was rather big yet “modern.”) Walk around and ask around. That way, you can get a good feel for the campus.

Oh, and if you do break off, watch out for lunch and the housing tours. If you miss those, you’re kinda screwed because I don’t think you can quite show up late. (For lunch, they have to take you somewhere else and give you this paper thingy so you can eat. I was late to the housing thing, and when I went to where it was held, the place was empty. Luckily, I saw some of the volunteers in a nearby area and managed to be able to see the dorms.)
