UCLA communication studies transfer

Alright so...basically if I get all A's by the end of 2013 fall, which is the time I will apply for net year fall, I will have a 3.85....

I know communication is super impacted...but I just can't do anything more, there's a unit cap for my semester and I can't take any more classes or else I would not be able to get a 3.85. I am freaking out and stressing out.

3.85...is that possible? Adding on to some internship possibly and working as a secretary in some local office....what are my chance of being admitted next year...I'm gonna cry...
Personal Essay are going to be good, decent, but not perfectly good.

Should I change major? but I dont know which major to choose....comm has always been my dream major, especially at UCLA.

GAHHH

Risky. I didn’t want to take the risk to I majored in Anthropology and did the minor in Film, Television, and Digital Media. I did this because I felt having UCLA on my resume was more important than the actual major.

I have also heard of people getting admitted under Sociology or Anthropology and then adding Comm as a double major. Also, even if you’re not a Comm major you can still take Comm classes…you would add during second pass.

so far I have only taken one anthropology class, since I was originally intended to apply for comm…

should I apply for anthropology and try to change major? or should I try to apply for communication anyway? do they let transferred junior to change major?

and do I need to have all three anthro pre req?

Oh my goodness, I’m in that same boat! I have a 3.5 right now, will have 3.89 or so if I get all A’s by the end of this fall. Working my butt off! Do you have a backup UC? Are you signing the TAG with any?

I’m a comm major also.

wow really haha, I am going to apply for I think all of the UC, probably gonna tag SD. right now I have 3.7 ish but I think I will boost it up to 3.8 ish at the end of 2013. 3.8 is nearly impossible to get in to comm tho…idk what else I can do
