UCLA DMA probability of getting in?

<p>Hi all,</p>

<p>I am apply to the Design | Media Arts Program at UCLA. I know my scores and GPA are lower than the averages at UCLA, but since I'm applying to an art program I'm hoping that doesn't matter as much as the portfolio. Then again, I don't know if my portfolio has any chance of impressing the admission office as well. Basically, I have no idea if I have any chance of getting in. Any thoughts?</p>

<p>SAT superscore - 1990
ACT - 31
Academic GPA - 3.71 (unweighted), 4.03 (weighted)</p>

<p>Sports - Field hockey (4 years), basketball (2 years)
100 community service hours
2 paid jobs
BSA Venturing Crew (kind of like Girl Scouts)</p>

<p>Female from California
Part Asian, British, and Chilean</p>

I’m just curious. Perhaps this person has email-notification? I’m really interested in the DMA program so I’m trying to get all the information I can… Sorry if that bothered you guys
