Ucla dpr

So, I was on URSA earlier looking at my DPR....but I'm afraid that they didn't count my later classes (AKA, the more "useful" classes toward my major) in with the 105 unit amount. I ended up with 112 SEMESTER units, but on the DPR page, it said that after 105 (I'm assuming quarter units?), you don't get any more unit credits. This, I'm assuming, would affect the classes that I get credit for, right?
Does anyone who transferred with UBER credit amounts know whether I would have to repeat courses, etc just because they stopped counting the classes I took after a certain amount? While looking at the page, I saw that I had to repeat a few classes even though I'm POSITIVE I've satisfied the requirements.
I don't have orientation until August 9 (FOR THOSE OF YOU COMPLAINING ABOUT NOT GETTING INTO THE CLASSES YOU WANT AT THIS TIME, THINK ABOUT THE LATER ORIENTATION PEOPLE) so I've got a while to ponder this mystery. (and they haven't processed my "final" transcript either...)

in the end, you still get “credit” for all the classes, just not beyond 105 units. so if one of the ones that they didn’t count in the 105 is a prerequisite, you still get that “credit” to go onto other classes/your major. so don’t really worry too much about that, they will probably get that settled by orientation. (mine is aug 9 too D: )

Like ^HigherHopes said, you won’t have to repeat any courses because of exceeding the 105 unit cap. The only thing that that whole scheme affects is the minimum/maximum number of units that you need/ cannot exceed in order to graduate.

If you didn’t get credit then I would venture to guess that it’s because either a.) they’re going to update your DPR later again, or b.) some of your courses just didn’t articulate. The latter one seems strange because you’re probably coming from a CCC, so theoretically almost everything you took should transfer right? However, if something ends up not articulating when you think it should then you can contest it.

thanks… guys. :slight_smile:
It’s just a really complicated situation D: so I’m hoping it’ll all get settled by orientation.
@HigherHopes–See you at orientation! :D

Sorry for the question but I just got my DPR. In the middle of the list of my classes, they inserted the statement “Maximum Credit Allowed.” The problem is, I’m not sure if this means they only counted the units for the courses above that statement or below it. Does anyone who had their DPR explained at orientation know?

hey, guy! i have a question regarding my DPR.
seem like they did not count my Econ 1 class in DPR, my major is business economic, i just want to know will i need to take it again over in UCLA?
