UCLA Transfers: Did you know about this? v.creditlimitation

"After you have completed 105 quarter units toward your degree, you are no longer eligible to receive unit credit for courses completed at a community college."

good thing I didn't take a summer course....wouldn't have mattered anyway. Did you guys know about this?

i think u can still get subject credit for ur major prereqs.

this is for HSSEAS....don't know if it also applies to the other colleges.

"After students have completed 105 quarter units (regardless of where the units are completed), they do not receive unit credit or subject credit for courses completed at a community college."

I called the HSSEAS counselor...she said that unless the admissions people told you to take some course which you needed you should not take any more courses after the 105 limit.

I was going to take a GE summer course at my CC....and I saw this

i c. wow. interesting.

for College of Letters and Sciences you get subject credit.

haha. I have 145 quarter units as of now and after my finals this week, I will have 167 units completed. Plus 10 more units this upcoming summer quarter. But 30 of my units were remedial math and science courses, and my CCC screwed me with a 21 unit computer programming sequence. And there are a few GEs that probably won't transfer to HSSEAS either.

u can have up to 134 quarter units i believe, they just won't count more than 105 towards your credit.
