any chance you’re having trouble creating your Logon ID? i use my 9 digit ID number but it keeps saying it can’t validate me
If admitted students don’t decline their offer by the deadline, will that affect spots? Don’t students automatically get declined (spots open up) if they don’t accept their offer by the deadline?
@munchenca The school won’t be able to send early waitlist offer if admitted students don’t decline their offer by the deadline. This will not affect the available spots after the deadline as those students would be declined automatically.
For those of you who have been accepted off of the waitlist, first of all congrats! Second, I was wondering if they sent you an email first or if you just happened to check your portal and there was an update. Thanks!

Has any econ major heard anything yet? I’m pretty sure UCLA does the waitlist process by majors.
They actually do it by college! Seems like most people who’ve heard back as of now are in the College of Letters and Science
I am an Applied Math major and I don’t see anything has changed on my UCLA portal. I am getting extremely anxious as I see some math majors are getting off from the waitlist. Hopefully I will eventually get off from the waitlist as well.
I’m freaking out too. I’m a pure math major and haven’t heard anything back yet. Hopefully we will get off the waitlist soon.

Thanks! I’m a California resident transferring from an OOS college. In the waitlist statement, I expressed my interest in the school and updated UCLA on some of my academic progress, including the upward trajectory in my grades. In addition, I also provided some new information about my contributions to my college’s boxing team to provide a humanizing element to my statement.
