@frogluvr I was accepted a week ago and I still haven’t received the welcome admission package. I hope they send them out soon.
Can’t you drop the class? My CCC is allowing to drop classes without a W and take the class again in Summer or Fall.
My CC has excuse W rather than non-W…I took all courses with letter grades but UCLA could not see my final term gades. I am pretty upset

Many people got accepted from last year thread on the 25th. It’s just unfair too if only most in-state got accepted and only a few of the out-of-state. I am pretty sure there will be more waves coming. Especially this year is a special year and they might slow down a little bit as well.
I haven’t really seen any international students who get off from the waitlist especially with bus econ major. It’s also only June 13 so I hope we will hear good news sooner. I saw last year’s thread and lots of decisions actually came up during the last days of June and mid July. I understand that y’all are starting to feel anxious now and it’s okay. But don’t lose hope! Maybe try not to visit this thread as much as u did before and find distractions like checking up with your other choice of school so you won’t really think about the waitlist. Best of luck everyone!
I’m an international student from De Anza College who also still gets waitlisted by UCLA with bus econ major
Last year thread, most of the students sho got waitlisted got hopeless too on the 13th- 26th. Then, they started getting off the waitlist on the 27th.
does anyone know if any psych majors have gotten off?
base on the number of last year 459 waitlist admits. I don think they have reached that number this year…But I wish I were positive as you. I saw few ppl got off as STEM major and no one here got off as stat major. I am IS student as well. I have no idea if I could not go to any school by September but also cannot go back home either. It is so hilarious. I hope they could consider this for IS students.

Hi I got off the waitlist today at 8:30 am as a pre-sociology major. My gpa is a 3.3 and in the letter I wrote about my academic achievements since I sent in my original application and I talked about a program they have that I really want to join. At the end of the letter I also wrote a poem about UCLA.

oh okay, thank you! i saw a few people from this thread get off as psych majors, but i haven’t heard anyone else so i was just curious. does anyone have any idea of when the next wave will be?
