Those of you who are thinking about a 3rd year of community college to better prepare for UC, and your school doesnât have UCTAP, you might try enrolling in CCs that arenât in your area but who participate in UC TAP and take online courses. Everything is online now because of the pandemic so you could easily do this, but even without the pandemic you can. I did many of my UC prep courses online at LACCD schools. Of my 60 units, I took 32 units entirely online, I even did a stats course online.
I couldnt sign TAP as an international student although I want toâŠ
Did anyone call or send an email to the admission office recently? I rather they reject me now than reject me at the end of July or even August 
I plan to write an email to them.
Has anyone received a rejection letter?

Hi guys! I hope yâall are doing fine. I called a UCLA representative last week to ask about the the deadline for the waitlist decision day (as we may know, there are rumors saying that it will be extended to July or even mid August). She said that UCLA donât set a deadline for it. She even said that the internal committees donât even know when will be the deadline. So, fingers crossed everybody! Always hope for the best and be prepared for the worst 
We are waitlisted because UCLA saw us as a good fit to their community but the spots available are just very limited. At least itâs not a straight up rejection hahaha. Oh and by the way, does anybody know any international student who has gotten off from the waitlist with a business economics major?
I wish UCLA admission would have live chat like what Berkeley does. At least we could know something about updates during this long hopeless waiting~
I called yesterday and the person I spoke to said people will hear back latest by the end of August
Wish they would just tell us if itâs likely or not so we can fully commit mentally to our other schools.
But no one heard an update so far~~~And its hard to conect with admin rep
Also, I am a little upset that the admission didnt concern enough about students who finished school later than May 15 (semester system)
Any Physics or something physics-related majors heard back yet? Is it possible that people will get off the waitlist at this point?
Iâm an Astrophysics major and I havenât heard back yet. I contacted an admissions officer via email about 2 weeks ago and she informed me that waitlist decisions will continue throughout July and possibly some of August
Itssss crazyâŠI think for STEM majors we are just harder to get off. But there is still some chance if we dont see any same major get off the list
Iâm also on the waitlist for biz econ. I know several people who are on the waitlist for biz econ from my school and we all have yet to hear back. Hopefully our wave comes soon!
Has anyone had any luck sending in Spring grades if your cc ends past May 15? I did really well this past quarter and tried sending them in by email and they said they wouldnât take them. Any backdoor way to get them through? Really bumming me out.
Me too. I tried so F hard to get straight As and here we go they didnt accept it. Those scores now can be only useful if I have to apply again nxt yr T TâŠ
If you wanted to include your spring grades you couldâve put what you had then added IP to it. That is what some people did seeing as most people werenât getting their final grades until after May 15th. The UCLA admissions website says that the admissions wonât take any other information besides the things you provide on the additional information section so I wouldnât annoy them with emails trying to add new information to gain admissions. They wonât look at it or consider it.
