<p>My friend told me that he got his official UCLA Acceptance Letter today. I was surprised since I didn't think they'd come out for another couple weeks or so. I specifically asked him if the letter was THE OFFICIAL letter of acceptance, or just the HSSEAS recommendation/engineering open house letter, and he said it was the official one. This confused me since he told me that he never got the HSSEAS likely applicant letter, and I did (We both applied for Electrical Engineering), but I have yet to get this so-called official acceptance letter.</p>
<p>So, was he lying or not? Are the official decision letters 100% guaranteed NOT sent out yet?</p>
