@stressexpress haha I know what you mean. I’m trying to stay positive. I imagine myself getting accepted everytime I log in lol we shall see if this “law of attraction” thing works
@jjang25 I think I should adopt your technique. In that case, I am so getting accepted
hmmm… I suggest doing something else like hanging with your friends and family, getting some work done early so that when you get admitted, you’ll become lazy and not wanna do your homework lol. Or just in general, take part in any normal activity. Get some fresh air! (Basically don’t be like me lol)
…
@GoodAfternoonSir I am at work and it’s slow…I’m caught up with my school work until next week so I got nothing better to do lol
@GoodAfternoonSir If you look at her fine print the dates are assessments based on previous years (with Berkeley always being last). That’s definitely the pattern, but with Berkeley going so early this year and many others not coming out last year until April 24+, it’s merely an assumption. Berkeley threw a monkey wrench into the works, for sure.
EDIT: Now it could be that UCLA is remaining uncharacteristically silent because they’re scrambling to reach that early date and are not sure they can do it.

@GoodAfternoonSir
RIP…
@Ohm888 hmmm…you may be onto something there. has UCLA been very open about the dates in previous years?
Yes. SO kind of surprised they aren’t releasing this year yet. It could be as @Ohm888 stated, that they don’t know if they have enough time to make it next week or in 2 weeks.
Currently watching Lone Survivor on FX. Such a powerful movie. Making me cry here man.
I would just like to give everyone an update regarding the admissions decisions date status. UCI just informed me that they will be releasing non-TAG/H2H decisions during the third week of April, aka next week. This matches askmssun’s recent comments that UCLA and every other UC will “most likely release decisions before 4/19 (Berkeley’s admissions date”. askmssun is a very credible source. I was in the UCLA CCCP scholar’s program last summer and she was one of the representatives who held a seminar for us to attend.
@bruins8clap That’s interesting. But I would think the decisions are pretty much already finalized by now. Could the transfer decisions be somehow related to the number of Freshmen applications they accepted? and the number of student who are likely to accept? I know they have until May 1st to decide
To give you a reference, UC Berkeley accepted their freshman applicants on March 28th this year. On March 26th, UC Berkeley sent me a email requesting my unofficial transcripts and they informed me they were reviewing my application currently.
How I assume UC Berkeley, UCLA, and UCSD operate are that they do freshman applicants first, then from mid March to mid April they finish transfer applicants. But yes, most applicants by now have probably already been accepted or denied. We are just waiting for the decision now
You guys realize that askmssun is not a source? She is analyzing past admission dates and making a prediction… which has been made multiple times in this thread.
@HeyItsNick yes, we’re taking it with a grain of salt
I have a strong feeling that both UCLA and UCI will come out next week.
I get a strong feeling too.
My spring break starts on April 13 and ends on April 21st. It’s going to be a hectic week with nothing to do
rip bro @GoodAfternoonSir
