UCLA Financial aid on FAO.UCLA

Hi, is the provisional award letter on fao.ucla.edu the final estimated cost of tuition? Are there any other financial aid/awards pending that is not on the provisional award letter, such as the 10-12 scholarships that I signed up for when I was applying for UCLA? My efc is very low, yet I only received a 5k federal pell grant for the financial aid portion of gift aid--should I be expecting any more?

Yeah, that’s roughly the cost. You were supposed to report if you received any scholarships when you applied for financial aid, I think. If you received them after your provisional award letter came out, then I think you report them and it affects the actual aid you get.

As for the amount on there, it probably isn’t going up.

individual scholarships you applied on the UCLA application will contact you directly through mail or phone call.

If they didn’t choose you for their scholarship then you probably won’t get any information. But, hey, it’s just April. I think most scholarships will come out this month.

By the way, they won’t deduct your scholarship if they didn’t meet your need.
