<p>Hi, I'm currently a senior in high school and I will be attending UCLA this fall. Honestly, I feel pretty anxious and nervous about going to such a big school because not many people from my high school is going there, so I practically don't know anybody. I'm pretty lost on whether to stay in plazas, suites, or dorms. I really don't get the difference between all three. Is it also possible to request only one roommate instead of two? And can you guys tell me your experiences with dorming with people that you don't know? I'm kind of freaked out about that too. Thanks :]</p>
<p>They offer housing tours for incoming freshmen this spring. Perhaps you can attend one. I am sure there is plenty of info available on line. But don’t worry too much about the rest. All the kids are in the same boat as you, and you’ll get into the swing of things after a few weeks there. Just study hard:-)</p>
