today, my education professor asked the class if we know what amherst college is. to my surprise, about 40-50% of the kids in the class raised their hands (class size about 180 or so). granted it was an education class, but nevertheless, i was surprised that many ucla students have heard of an east coast LAC; i was under the impression that most ucla students mostly know the top privates, the UCs, and usc. guess i was wrong! just my observation of the day...

I've heard of it, and would have guess Massachusetts...is that right? Probably not. Who cares..they are on the right coast..left is better. ;)

On the other hand, no one back East knew about Pomona or Harvey Mudd...

Well UCLA students would consider Amhearst for Liberal Arts. I did (at one point) until I realized that I like Washington and Lee better.

IT IS IN MASSACHUSETTS!!! What do I win? :P

Your decision from UCLA in May.

Hmm..that isn't so much a win as it is a decision...but better to know than to suffer in limbo. Woe is me.

Freshmen applicants: next month! Yay! About 30 days or so to go.

UCLA, Class of 2009

Go Bruins!

eiffelguy, i hope u get in, youre so enthusiastic about ucla =D
