UCLA nursing transfer student (+international student)

Hi, I applied to UCLA nursing school from Santa Monica college, one of the California Community Colleges.

Also, I am an international student.

I know international students have least priority for admission. And y GPA is low, 3.76, but I can confidently say that I wrote my essays with heart.

But I still hope to get into UCLA nursing.

And I’d like to know my chance of getting into UCLA nursing and get some thoughts from those who either got accepted or rejected to ucla nursing.

I am not a nursing major, but it doesn’t look like they let a lot of people in to the program. Historically their acceptance rate has hovered around 7% for nursing. All hope is not lost though, you are within the 25th and 75th percentiles of admits so just keep hope up until April when you’ll know for sure.

Rejected: SAT:1200 UW GPA: 4.0 W GPA:4.5

Nursing is very competitive buy you should know your admission decision by now:)

I don’t know it yet because I’m a transfer student and the decision for transfer students will be out by the end of April
