UCLA only considers GPA up untill FALL 2014 for FALL 2015 Admissions

I am a UC Davis student currently planning on transferring to UCLA in Fall 2015. I’ve been trying to clear up any doubts or confusions I have before preparing to file the application but I came across a small problem. I sent an e-mail to UCLA regarding which quarters of GPA will be considered in the admission and they sent me a reply, and I quote:

“If you apply for admission for Fall 2016. The GPA considered will be up until Fall 2015. Winter and Spring will not be calculated.”

However, when I consulted the website, it says:

"Junior-level standing (60 semester/90 quarter transferable units completed) by the end of the spring term before you transfer.

GPA of 3.2 or higher earned in transferable courses."

which to any normal person, it means that both Winter and Spring Quarters will be considered. I’m very confused and would like some guidance on this matter. Thanks

Let’s get something straight first. You’re a student at UC Davis transferring in Fall 2015? You make no sense. Why does it matter anymore? Unless you meant you’re transferring in Fall 2016

As for the rest, very simple.

They will calculate your admission with grades using up until your Fall 2015 grades.

Your grades after that will not be used in regard to your acceptance. They STILL count and will be calculated to KEEP your admission. But they won’t be used to ACCEPT you.

They only calculate your GPA for admission based on your grades up until Fall 2015, but you don’t have to complete 90 quarter units until the end of Spring 2016. When accepted, UCLA will let you know what grades you need to get in your spring classes to stay accepted.

Thanks guys
