I’ve read some other threads on this subject but they are a bit older and I would like some new input. I’m looking to go into a biochemical major and move onto medical school. I know that both universities are very prestigious and have very great programs so I’m having a bit of trouble choosing. UC Berkeley has great programs overall but they lack a medical center on campus and the closest one is San Francisco; I heard that there are not a lot of connections and it is quite difficult to get opportunities with shadowing a research. UCLA on the other hand has a medical center on campus but has a different atmosphere? What are your thoughts on the matter?
