Hey guys. So yea the question is which is better for a biochem major: ucsd with regents or ucla without

Apples or oranges? If cost isn’t your problem, go to where you feel at home.

UCSD

UCSD with Regents.

UCSD for biochemistry.

Another vote for UCSD Regents. Biochem is UCSD’s bread and butter.

What about Berkeley guys? Sd regents or Berkeley?

Thanks for all the comments btw

@Areegh Did you apply to the College of Chemistry or L&S?

I’m not sure lol. Biological Sciences (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) was my major. So I would think L&S maybe?

For Berkeley that is

Chemical biology is the major within Berkeley’s College of Chemistry. You can try to switch into that, but biochemistry via L&S at Berkeley is top notch as well.
I’m biased, and I think Berkeley is a better choice than UCSD.
I prefer semesters and Berkeley’s campus envrionment is more dynamic and offers much more than UCSD.
