so im in a huge debate still as to which UC i shoul transfer to. going to be a 3rd year when i transfer and my major is bio science. planning to probably go to pharmacy school after gettingy degree. the major problem i have in deciding is this:
ucla has the bigger name so i guess that'd help with future jobs and such. but i know no one there, so it will be a new world for me. and its quite far from my home.
davis on the other hand, i know tons of people and its like half an hour away from home.

which one should i go to?

In this case, UCLA is where it’s at. Def go if youre in there. That’s pretty much all that needs to be said. Look at the rankings, research, history… And the friends thing well that’s how it is in my case kinda as well. I know more ppl at UCLA and no one at USC but im probably going to go to USC because the school is better for my major. So, be a bruin.

ucla. not only is it a better school that will provide you with more opportunities from name recognition, but going to a new school farther away from home with the responsibility of creating a second home for yourself… thats what many people experience in (and love about) college

ueah ucla does offer morr opportunities indeed. anyone know if its good for pharmacy later on? and if their bio program is better than ucd?

those are probably things you could find out pretty quickly with some research. from what i know ucla has pretty strong science programs, dont know about ucd

If you want to go to pharmacy school, it won’t matter where you went for undergrad. Just make sure you keep your GPA as high as possible and get a competitive score on the PCAT.

If I were you, I would pick the school that will save me more money.

I was a pre-pharmacy student. I have done TONS of research about pharmacy schools.
