Do Bruins go home for Thanksgiving or do they stay? It's only four days, after all.

Some stay but VERY few. I had to stay the night the night before thanksgiving and I remember there were probably only 2 or 3 other people on my floor still there.

Most people go home for Thanksgiving.

I stayed until the morning of thanksgiving....it was completely deserted in my part of the dorms (de neve)...it was actually kind of eerie :p heh

i think they close all the dining halls too.

Aite, looks like I'll be heading home then.

does anyone know for sure if the dining halls are open or closed during thanksgiving break?

You could always go to a friend that you meet at UCLA's house for thanksgiving if going home is going to be an arduous journey

I can confirm that the dining halls are closed during Thanksgiving break.

Doesn't ORL also tell people to be a little more cautious as well?

ucapplicant05: what is ORL?

So is the campus virtually empty during the holiday? Is it relatively safe to stay behind? I guess Sunday is back to it normal scene when most student returned. Shouldn't at least one dining hall opens on Sunday?
